¼ cup Wildwood Ribriffic Seasoning

¼ cup baking powder

Hot honey BBQ sauce (see recipe below)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
  2. Take your thawed chicken wings and dry them using paper towels. You may need to change paper towels a couple times to get the wings as dry as possible.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together your baking powder and Wildwood Ribriffic seasoning.
  4. Place your dried wings in the mixture and toss until they are thoroughly coated.
  5. Set the wings on the smoker with a little space between each.

  7. Remove your wings from the smoker and place into the bowl with your homemade hot honey BBQ sauce until completely coated.
  8. Place your wings in a crock pot to keep warm and you are ready to enjoy your wildly tasty wings.

Hot Honey BBQ Sauce Recipe

1 cup honey

2 tbsp red pepper flakes

4 cups BBQ sauce (use your favorite)

1 stick of butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine all ingredients.
  2. Stir constantly as you slowly melt the butter until it is completely melted. Be careful not to melt your butter too quickly (this will make your butter separate and takes away the sauce’s smooth texture).
  3. Store in the refrigerator until needed.
